Marinade for pork chops
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds pork chops (modest cut)
- pepper
- oregano or thyme
- 1 cup (of wine) red wine
- little olive oil
- 1 cup Cretan grape-juice syrup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- salt
Instructions:
Wash the meat and drain well (no water). In a bowl, add the meat, oregano and pepper, while we prepare the marinade of wine, Cretan grape-juice syrup, mustard, olive oil and pour over the meat. Then cover it well and leave in the fridge over 8 hours. Before baking, which is either on the grill or in the oven, add salt (salt put everything in the end because "squeezes" the meat.)
